I teach kids guitar and have used this book for years. Just a good starter book , even for adults ! All the hal leonard method books are well done and progress your muscle memory in a proper way. Learn to read !! Keep your thumb up !

Great Starting Book

I teach elementary guitar and this book worked very well with my class. The students loved the songs and being able to play "real" music right away. A great choice!
