good book, but poorly edited

this is an essential book for the field containing all the basic theory.

therefore it's a shame it's so poorly edited. it happened me more than once that i tried to follow the equations without success only to find out after a long while that some critical assumptions are defined two paragraphs after the calculations are presented. the book also fails on giving enough physical intuition to the processes described. the math is good, but it's not enough in my opinion.
